New Hearing Aid Study in Guildford

[Update 14-Jul-2013: This study is no longer running.]

There's a new study for people who might want to wear hearing aids. They have to have a moderate hearing loss that is similar in both ears and should be people with no experience with hearing aids. It looks like a good opportunity for newbies to try two different hearing aids and to get extra time with audiologists to check things are working well. Participants also get paid £50 in vouchers.

The message below is directly from Dr Sheetal Athalye at Audiology (Outpatients 7) in Royal Surrey County Hospital -- it is in no way connected with the Guildford HoH/deaf Social Group. I can pass on contact details for the study if you ask vis the Write to Us section of this website.
