The Other Side of Time   by Frederik Pohl

Read: 1999-01-01 Reviewed: 2004-03-15
Re-read factor:
Given the legendary status of the author, and the profound ideas that the title conjures up, this book's subject matter turns out to be rather mundane. It's nothing more than an alien abduction story, and while the description of the alien environment might be plausible (who knows?), it's not really very inventive and seems to awkwardly mix near-future science fiction with far-future stuff.

Perhaps I'm not giving the book credit for its age, but all in all, a bit of a disappointment.
