Nightfall   by Isaac Asimov, Robert Silverberg

Here's a novel plotline: a world is blessed with five suns, and the population have never experienced true nightfall. Then one happens...

This is a thoughtful study of how such a population might react to such a calamity. Brilliant science fiction.
