Frankenstein   by Mary Shelley

Read: 1970-01-01 Reviewed: 2005-05-30
Re-read factor:
This is my all-time favorite book. Despite its age, the science fiction is still fresh and far-reaching. But the real strength that this book has is the way that it uses science fiction to explore the human psyche. I'm not going to try to describe the contents of this book, because the true meaning of the word `Frankenstein' requires a full reading of the work to understand it (and no, it's not a green monster in the comic book sense).
